what’s new? in 2010
February 2, 2010Now that the new website is complete (almost ~ a few more pics and some more info to add)…I am excited about 2010! I have recently started offering mentoring sessions. These sessions will take place in April & May only. Please email me for details… I will be adding weddings this year… I am feeling VERY honored for being asked to photograph the Idaho Junior Miss this spring. SO excited for that! I will also be working with Jamie Stephens, owner of Blush - She is an amazing makeup artist! Her services can be added to any of my Wedding/Bridal/Senior Sessions. I also have a few other projects in the works. Looking forward to 2010!!!

January 11, 2010I sure had a great laugh with these girls! A whole lotta fun… I am so excited for Corrine. She will be a senior next year. (we will be doing her senior pics sometime in late spring / early summer.) It is crazy because the next time after senior pics will be her wedding pics. LOL Lindy:) Time is flying! I have had the wonderful opportunity doing her pics for the last 3 years. Her Momma is my nail girl. She is the absolute BEST. No joke, no exageration! If you need your nails done, call me and I’ll give you her number.

you can see his “hanes” underwear……here’s a little tidbit - Back in the early 90’s in Monterey, California - I managed a Champion Hanes Factory Outlet Store. I have no idea why I just told you that. Seeing his hanes I guess just reminded me of that.

December 22, 2009My ‘09 Christmas Card picture….my sweet babies. What you don’t see in my Christmas card is the fist fight between my 18 month old and my daughter as she is trying to hold on to him…and my husband on the other side of the tree desperately trying to get their attention…..Haha. After a very intense work schedule for the last couple of months, I never got around to taking pictures of my own kiddo’s until about a week ago. I realized omgosh, christmas is like in a week and I haven’t even photographed my own kiddo’s. I decided at best to try a picture of them where they didn’t have to be looking at me:) There is nothing harder than to try to photograph your own child at the sweet age of 18 months!!! He is my wild man! So, funny…as I was typing “wild man” - I heard a huge boom, bang, in my kitchen. Anyhow, just wanted to thank all of my clients, blog buddies, and friends for a wonderful 2009. I am also so grateful for our wonderful God…to give us hope and peace in our wonderful savior!!! I hope everyone is enjoying their week with their families. Merry Christmas!

crave photography: I tried a shot like this too this year, and man they are hard to capture!. My shutter speed was sooooo slow and my ISO was jacked way high so it turned out pretty grainy. I love the simplicity in this, it's so magical! I love your work. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

November 18, 2009This was one of the nicest families I have ever met. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with mom & daughter this past summer for senior portraits. They are wonderful!!! I have to also give a shout out to the “dad” in this family!!! He was so wonderful to work with! Lots of dads do not like “family pictures” But he was so easy going! Thanks “B” family!
