Recently, my husband had a pay per view boxing event party at our house…so, my sweet little daughter and I hit the road for a girls day out. It was a much needed “fun day” with the craziness of summer work. We spent the entire day in Spokane. Starting out at The Farm Chicks store….cutest little store ever. Found some awesome bracelets, and party decor and the cutest polka dot rubber gloves. I really “need” the gloves, they are on my Santa wish list - You won’t ever catch me doing dishes without gloves!
Then we headed closer to the downtown area. I wanted to go back to this store called “Roost”. I went there a few weeks ago and saw something really cool for a great prop, thought I should go back and buy it. And guess what someone else was purchasing as I walked in….yes, my cool prop. Oh well, I did find a couple of others things so cute for props! Her store is darling…Gotta check it out!
Did a little more shopping, dinner and then laser tag. I love to play laser tag. I am very competitive, just so you know. I won 1st place that night:) My code name is “dazzle” Anyone up for some laser tag?
I am so glad that I took the day off…on the way home my daughter said that was the best day ever. That makes my smile:)

Seven weeks ago a tragic accident happened and a local photographer lost her husband. Reading this story in the paper absolutely broke my heart and decided I wanted to do something to help. I would encourage everyone to visit Renee’s blog - You will fall in love with their family. You will be inspired.

I would like to challenge everyone who reads this to help out this family. So, what I thought of is for everyone to donate the cost of a 5×7 - Whatever that might be. If you are a photographer, donate the sale of a 5×7. Clients/blog followers, I would encourage you to donate what you would normally spend on a 5×7. Just one 5×7…. would help out this family. we had lots of fun this morning trying to win some stuff w/ blu. Even if we don’t win, we sure had fun doing the pics… Just hoping the neighbors didn’t see me looking like I had a mop on my head and in my jammies. (by the time I saw the contest we had about 3 minutes to get it done before the contest was over) hehe, it was fun:)

So, I just found like 25+ emails in a junk folder that I need to return from the last few days that went through my website…. I have no idea why they went going into “junk” and have no idea how long this has been happening (it is only showing me mail in the “junk” for the last few days). I’ll tell ya, I am already kind of spacey and having a hard time keeping up in the busy season, but, OH! people must thing I am horrible for never getting back to them. So sorry….. this has happened before and I have no idea why - If for some reason, ya send me an email and I don’t get back to you within a 2 or 3 days (sometimes it takes that long) give me a call. ….now I know one reason why some thought I was in LaLa land…;) ha!

So, I have gotten a few messages in the last week asking if I am taking time off or if I am still alive… I have been working like crazy…most days starting at 5 or 6 am. I have not posted many sneak peeks because time just doesn’t allow. When I get totally overwhelmed, blogging/fb seems to be the 1st to go. I am just trying to stay focused and keep on trucking with proofing and orders. I feel so bad and really hope that clients don’t assume that I didn’t like their pics and that’s why I didn’t sneak peek them. Oh my, that is totally not why at all. So, just wanted to let my peeps know, I am still alive and well. Just crazy busy! Btw…. Just got the keys to the new studio and will be working on that (in my spare moments, hehe). I will be moving in August and will keep an update. Check back for more info:)
