Seven weeks ago a tragic accident happened and a local photographer lost her husband. Reading this story in the paper absolutely broke my heart and decided I wanted to do something to help. I would encourage everyone to visit Renee’s blog - You will fall in love with their family. You will be inspired.
I would like to challenge everyone who reads this to help out this family. So, what I thought of is for everyone to donate the cost of a 5×7 - Whatever that might be. If you are a photographer, donate the sale of a 5×7. Clients/blog followers, I would encourage you to donate what you would normally spend on a 5×7. Just one 5×7…. would help out this family. Thanks so much for your support. Don’t forget to check out her site. Be inspired by this family.
here is the link for donations that can be made through paypal
Or donations can be mailed to the info below.

we had lots of fun this morning trying to win some stuff w/ blu. Even if we don’t win, we sure had fun doing the pics… Just hoping the neighbors didn’t see me looking like I had a mop on my head and in my jammies. (by the time I saw the contest we had about 3 minutes to get it done before the contest was over) hehe, it was fun:)

I have to admit….I seriously felt some pressure before this photo shoot. Megan is a photographer from Arizona. She planned a trip to the NW but was going out of her way to have pictures done. She came on the same weekend as Iron Man (which is crazy $ for hotels) She was here just the one night….so, I had one chance to capture her family. I guess in my mind, I was like….oh my gosh, what if I forget how to use my camera….what if something weird starts happening with my camera and don’t know what to do about it….and on and on. So crazy! Well, they couldn’t of been dressed more adorable! I love, love the patterns and colors! She totally rocked on her choice of clothing! (the dresses are from Target) They are a gorgeous family! (check out her site - she is awesome!)

This family was so awesome to hang out with….the kids were absolutely adorable. and I loved the dad’s new york accent! It always reminds me of my dad when I hear someone’s new york accent:) And I am soooo happy to have beautiful weather now!
Thanks d family for being so very patient with your proofs!

This was a fun session from a few weeks ago. One of the ones where we had to dodge the crazy rain weather. I do love how green everything is…that is definitely the bonus of lots of rain;)
What a beautiful family! So great to meet them…they were so kind and fun to hang out with!
b family, gallery coming soon;) - xo, christina

Oh, are they the sweetest, cutest, most adorable….and oh my! love, love their outfits! I loved the style, the colors, the patterns!
Mom did an awesome job!!!
The weather around here has been very crazy! One day it is summer and the next, well, it is winter, spring and summer all in the same day! How do you plan for that one? We totally froze on this day…of course a few hours later in the day, it was sunny and beautiful. We got through it….with the help of mom & dad promising….Silverwood to their beautiful kiddo’s for doing a great job with pics! So happy to meet this family!

These girls are my “gap girls” best friends. They were absolutely beautiful and as sweet as ever. Love, LOVED the colors, scarves, everything! Mom did an awesome job! Oh, and I just love spring and this beautiful tree! Thanks girls for a beautiful shoot. A quick little sneak peek. back to editing- xo, christina

I call them troopers because the weather turned bitter cold the day we had scheduled for pictures. They were so amazing…seriously never even a peep. I kind of wonder what Mom promised them if they did a good job, I would think something really big like a trip to Disney. I love photographing them….they are such beautiful and sweet kids. I look forward to our family session this summer!!!

Mother’s Haven is an amazing store for new mommies. They have lots of awesome products…fun little Baby Legs, sassie diaper bags, and a huge selection of cloth diapers. Margaret had to give me a run down on how to use them….I asked the dumbest question ever - where do you put the icky stuff that you find in the diaper, you certainly don’t just through them in wash, right? Well, like I said it was a dumb question because the answer is quite simple… you throw the stuff (I’ll just call it stuff) in the toilet and then throw the diaper in the wash. Viola! Ok, that was probably a little more info than you needed, but just maybe someone else out there has the same question:) I feel a little behind times here as they are very popular now! They also have wonderful support groups as well. Check out her site! Just a few sneak peek pics from their photo shoot.

I got such a laugh when I found this one in the file of pictures….Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday afternoon:)

These were from a session a few weeks ago…(I don’t know where my days go, it is so crazy to be behind in the month of April) I just love this family who I was so blessed to meet a couple of years ago. They were wonderful clients who have now become friends that I truly adore. I recently did Ally’s maternity session (that I can’t wait to share some….just need to get her approval on them:) the littlest sure gives me a run for the money….and sweating bullets too! I figured out something on this one session, let her be in charge and definitely, be on her level:) They are so precious!
oh, and Renee, thanks for all of your help:) you are totally hired!

These were her “own” poses. Isn’t she a doll!

Just got a chance to add a few…..Isn’t she stunning!!!

These guys are another one of my fave family’s!!!! One of my very first original clients:) So thrilled they have a totally adorable little girl to hang out with their totally adorable little boy! Can’t wait to work on the rest of the pictures! Oh, and love, love this new location!!! xoxo, christina

These girls could seriously be models! I nicknamed them “gap girls” a couple of years back. They just “know” how to work the camera. Mom came with lots of accessories for their recent session - so awesome! LOVE that! Thanks for a great photo shoot. Can’t wait for the next:)
All shot with 85 1.4…. I think I’m in love w/ it!

they were such awesome kids! and so adorable! gotta run ~

These girls were so sweet and adorable. They totally loved the camera (just until we started freezing our booties off!). They were awesome! I really enjoyed photographing them! What I really loved about them is how sweet they were to each other! It makes my heart melt when I see the love of siblings!
PS Rolane - how about the hunk of junk I used for a prop - Awesome! Dean isn’t allowed to get rid of it:) jk

What a wonderful family that I recently met….I thanked the dad at the end for being so pleasant!!! He was so easy going which makes my job so much easier!!! And, what a beautiful family they have….The kiddo’s are so adorable! Thanks “O” family for a {Wonderful} session!!! Proofs coming soon - can’t wait for you to see them, lots of treasures!!!

I just love how the kids puckered up when they saw mom & dad kissing……so cute!!!
